Whale watching and snorkeling with whales among the
beautiful islands Tonga. . . . .
The magnificent South Pacific Humpback
whales migrate to the warm waters of Tonga from late
July to late October each year, to mate and give birth
to their calves. The 8,500 km journey to and from their
feeding grounds in the Antarctic takes approximately
6 or 7 weeks.
Tonga is one of only 3 locations in the
world where it is legal to swim with whales or snorkel with whales.
Due to its location and geography, this amazing experience
can be managed so it is safe for both humans and animals.
Our 'swim with whales' tours are 3-day, 7-day and 9-days includes accommodation, boat trips with the whales, education about whales, guidance in the water with trained & experienced guides, meals and airport transfers.
"As I slowly swam along her brilliant white side
I saw that her eye was open, I hung there and looked
at her. She seemed so peaceful and knowing, with 100
million years of wisdom within her. Something very
profound happens when you look into the eye of a whale
- and your life is never the same again."
