They have a Fale style outdoor setting situated beside a group of large historic Futu trees. (A Tongan native tree similar to a Magnolia). These trees have splendid delicate pink and white flowers which float to the ground when it rains. This event occurs when in season, which is a good part of the year.
They offer a resort with quietness, away from the rush and hustle. No large bars and restaurants, night clubs and meals for masses of people. Just the sound of the sea, the breeze, a few birds, perhaps a local fisherman or two on the reef.
They have preserved the beach for conservation of its sands in a clean and environmentally sensitive manner by ensuring that they only offer clean activities that do not damage the sand embankment. There is no removal of sand, patapata or maka from the beach and water frontage, no fires are lit on the sand which would contaminate it and the general beach area is protected from overuse other than by normal foot traffic from visitors.
They have established plantings of coconut palms, Toa trees and other native coastal plants and grasses on the beach front where possible, with the aim of helping to conserve the sands from erosion. They also carry out regular clean-ups of the sand and beach front to remove any sea borne man made rubbish that may accumulate, or any litter dropped by other occasional not so thoughtful casual visitors to the beach.
There is a communal kitchen to cook your your meals or meals can be made for you on request. The resort has a fresh-water swimming pool – perfect for relaxing! Internet is available when wireless services are operating, usually subject to weather.

Once a week there is a barbecue with traditional and international specialties. Lobster, steaks and even German sausages are thrown on the BBQ. An house specialty, Tongan marinated fish salad (ota ika), is a must!
